In 2018, CtC of the Americas helped train educational and community leaders in Ecuador to engage children as partners for better health. The workshop featured the special “Educational Knapsack” developed in 2016, drawing upon indigenous stories to teach children about anti-microbial resistance.
In Ecuador, Centro Niño a Niño has applied the Child to Child methodology to create and launch an “Educational Knapsack” for children’s health.
Since 2013 Child to Child has been implementing an adapted version of Getting Ready for School in post-disaster areas in Pakistan in collaboration with local partner,the Teachers’ Resource Centre. The project also incorporates a focus on disaster risk reduction.
