New exciting opportunity to learn about our approach

A Child to Child course for programmers and facilitators – October 2010, Lebanon

May 2010

From 11-16 October, Child to Child is organising an extensive course for programmers and facilitators on Child to Child’s step approach. It intends to assist the participants in developing their planning, training, monitoring and evaluation skills using this step approach.

22. YF and YL session[1]

During the training, participants will receive a comprehensive overview of the Child to Child movement and an in-depth understanding of the step approach. They will be introduced to the various techniques assessing children’s participation, as well as the resources developed by Child to Child.

The Child to Child team delivering the course will also stress children’s right to participation, as stated in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and their crucial role in improving healthcare in their community. They will emphasise the need for children to be involved in health programmes, especially through a child to child approach.
