After heading Child to Child for seven years, Tashmin Khamis is leaving the charity to become Director of Quality Assurance and Academic Planning at the Aga Khan University in Kenya.

“I have loved every minute at Child to Child and will continue to promote the organisation but I am looking forward to being back in the field”, she said.

Tasmin has been working on education and nutrition issues in international development for over 15 years. Starting as an Assistant Professor at the Aga Khan University in Pakistan, she led an action research programme on health promotion for school improvement for six years before joining Child to Child in 2003.

Child to Child is pleased to welcome on board Clare Keates, who has joined us from Bond and will be acting as Director until a permanent Director is recruited. The position for Director will be advertised on the website soon.
